This acrylic painting was produced in 1997 (and then modified as a digital file in Adobe Photoshop before publication in 1998) as the cover of the humorous roleplay game Bob, Lord of Evil. Since this book is a companion volume to Murphy's World, I wanted the image to have the same sort of colors and chaos, while suggesting a darker tone to the humor. Sean Murphy, the hero from the previous book, is clearly in a tight bind and at the total mercy of Bob (the central figure) and his minions. The original painting (slightly different from the image below) is still in my possession.
