This is the last of four covers I produced in 1989 for First Publishing for a four-issue limited series comic, Sensei. This issue tells of the adventures of Tadashi Natori, a time-travelling martial artist who finds himself helping a people conquer a fortress in the future — while his brother tries to prevent WWIII.Indent: dot clear gif
I enjoyed experimenting with different media during the production of this series. This image is oil paint with highlights in oil pastel on artboard. The original painting is still in my possession.
