This wrap-around cover was painted in oils on artboard in 1987 for Marching Through Georgia, the first novel by S.M. Stirling in the Draka series, published by Baen Books. Steve and I have been friends for years, so it was great to be able to work with him to get the details of the uniforms and weapons the way he wanted them. I also produced the Dragon logo which appears on the cover, and designed the cover and produced the type. The original painting is still in my possession.
